Sinopse

Cinebiografia do cantor Johnny Cash (Joaquim Phoenix), morto em 2004. O filme mostra desde a juventude em uma fazenda de algodão no Arcansas até o começo do sucesso nos estúdios Sun, em Memphis, onde gravou ao lado de Elvis Presley, Jerry Lee Lewis e Carl Perkins.
